NEW USER LOGIN

Instructions for Creating Your Username and Password (FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS ONLY)

  1. Go to the login page:
    1. Access http://www.yrcw.com/careers/jobs/, then choose a job category from the three listed in the middle of the page.
    2. Click the specific position for which you would like to apply. (If you are completing a general Candidate Profile for job notification purposes instead of applying for a specific position, click the "Add/Update Candidate Profile" link at the bottom of the page).
    3. If the Legal Statement screen appears, click "I Wish to Proceed".
       
  2. Under the heading "I am signing in for the first time," click "New User Login."
  3. In the Login Information section:
    1. Enter a unique user name. Your user name must be at least 4 characters and must be different from any other applicant’s user name. A good rule of thumb is to use your email address as your user name.
    2. Enter your password. Passwords must be at least 6 characters and cannot contain your user name or email address.
    3. Re-enter the password you have selected.
       
  4. In the Security Question section:
    1. Provide a question that will be used to verify your identity if you later forget your user name or password.
      Example: "What is my mother’s maiden name?"
    2. Provide an answer to the security question you have selected.
       
  5. In the Email Contact Information section:
    1. Enter your unique email address.
      If the email address you enter has already been used on a previous login attempt, you will not be allowed to continue with a New User creation. If this occurs, please ensure that you have not logged in previously. Try logging in under "I have previously applied for a job or submitted my candidate profile." If you have forgotten your user name or password, refer to the instructions below.
    2. Re-enter your email address.
  6. Click Login.

When creating my New User Login, I received an error message that said "A valid record already exists under this user name." What does this mean?

You may have logged in before. Enter your username and password under the heading "I have previously applied for a job or submitted my candidate profile."If you have forgotten your password, refer to the instructions below.

If you are signing in for the first time and you receive this message, it is most likely because another job seeker has registered with this user name. Because user names can only be used once in the system, you will need to choose a different user name. Choose a user name that is unique and will be unlikely to have been used by another job seeker.

What if I forget my username?

  1. Go to the login page:
    1. Access http://www.yrcw.com/careers/jobs/, then choose a job category from the three listed in the middle of the page.
    2. Click the specific position for which you would like to apply. If you are completing a general Candidate Profile for job notification purposes instead of applying for a specific position, click the “Add/Update Candidate Profile” link at the bottom of the page.
    3. If the Legal Statement screen appears, click “I Wish to Proceed”.
       
  2. Under the heading "I have previously applied for a job or submitted my candidate profile,” click “Forgot Your User Name?”
     
  3. You will be asked to provide validation information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number. This information must be identical to what you entered when you originally created your account.
     
  4. If the system validates the information you entered, you will be asked to enter your email address. Your user name will be sent to you via email, along with instructions for changing your password.

What if I forgot my personal password?

  1. Go to the login page:
    1. Access http://www.yrcw.com/careers/jobs/, then choose a job category from the three listed in the middle of the page.
    2. Click the specific position for which you would like to apply. If you are completing a general Candidate Profile for job notification purposes instead of applying for a specific position, click the “Add/Update Candidate Profile” link at the bottom of the page.
    3. If the Legal Statement screen appears, click “I Wish to Proceed”.
       
  2. Enter your user name under the heading "I have previously applied for a job or submitted my candidate profile".
     
  3. Click "Forgot Password?"
    1. If you created a security question when you initially created your account, you will be asked to provide a response to this question and then to create a new password.
    2. If you did not create a security question at your original login, a temporary pass code will be emailed to you, allowing you to reset your password. This e-mail will be sent within one hour of your request.
