U.S. Army Reserve Partnership
The U.S. Army Reserve and YRC Worldwide have formed an Employer Partnership to explore mutually beneficial initiatives that support the missions of both organizations. YRC Worldwide supports employees who answer the call to serve in the Army Reserve. Both partners will encourage Army soldiers to pursue careers with employer partners.

YRCW is committed to the military community
- 13 percent of our workforce are current, retired or ex-military.
- YRCW has a long tradition of hiring veterans. In 2006, we hired 451 veterans; in 2007, 308 veterans; and in 2008, 94 veterans, which made up 16 percent of all 2008 hires.
- 16 YRCW employees are serving on active duty, and 838 have been called to active duty since Sept.11, 2001. At YRCW, we recognize and value the sacrifices made by our Guard and Reserve employees.
